How it works

Faster than ordering a pizza.

  1. You call Al

Tell him full or half cord and where you want it dropped. That's the whole order.

  2. He loads the truck

Every load is processed and seasoned 10 to 12 months before it goes on the truck. No waiting on a delivery window three days out.

  3. It's on your driveway

About an hour in the Denville area, same day across the rest of Morris County.

  4. You're burning tonight

Pay Al at the door. Want it stacked? Say so on the call and he'll handle it.

Who's bringing your wood

Hi, I'm Al. I cut it, I season it, I deliver it.

I’m one guy with a truck in Denville, not a call center. When you call, you get me. When the truck pulls up, it’s me.

I’ve been in the firewood business for 9 years. Everything I sell is dense hardwood sourced from local tree maintenance right here in Morris County, split and seasoned 10 to 12 months before it ever goes on the truck. If you’re not happy with a load, call me and I’ll make it right.

What the neighbors say.

See that line about Al picking up the phone? Believe it!! Not only picked up on 2nd ring but delivered to my house in an hour. Smoothest delivery of anything ever. Thanks Al! You are the man! Don't waste your time with others...they don't call back!

Al is the man - professional, friendly, and FAST! Plus, very fair prices! He delivered a ‘healthy’ cord right where we asked and it was worth every penny. Thanks again Al!

Good quality wood ready to burn when delivered. Nice big pieces and NO mulch garbage. He was able to deliver in less then 60min and came out in the snow. Overall very good experience and will buy more wood in the future.

Carson H., Morris County, NJ

Great family owned company, received high quality firewood. Would recommend

Matthew W., Morris County, NJ

Two years ago we bought a cord of wood. We use it for bbq pit and a few winter fireplace fires. It's always burned well. The initial delivery was prompt. About to order again.

FAQ

Questions people ask Al.

Anything else, just call. He picks up.

A tape measure laid along a split of seasoned hardwood showing its length
Every split is cut to fit a standard fireplace or stove.
Is it really an hour?

For the towns around Denville, yes, most of the time. If Al is mid-delivery he'll tell you the honest ETA on the phone. The rest of Morris County is same day.

What is a cord, actually?

A stack 4 feet high, 4 feet deep and 8 feet long: 128 cubic feet. A lot of sellers quote a face cord, which is a third of that. Al sells full cords.

What kind of wood is it?

All dense hardwood: a mix of maple, oak, hickory, birch and ash, sourced from local tree maintenance in Morris County. Every load is seasoned 10 to 12 months before delivery, so it lights easy and burns hot with less smoke and creosote.

Do you stack it?

Yes, for an additional fee. Tell Al where you want it when you call and he'll give you the price.

How do I pay?

Cash, check or Zelle, paid at the door when the wood is on your driveway.

Do you deliver outside Morris County?

Sometimes. Call with your town and Al will tell you straight.
