Firewood in Pequannock

Pequannock and Pompton Plains, same day.

Pequannock Township is on my same day list, Pompton Plains included.

The houses up here are close to the rivers, and that means damp air in the colder months. Seasoned wood soaks moisture back up if you leave it sitting on the ground or wrap it up tight. Put it on pallets or a couple of rails, cover the top, leave the sides open, and it stays ready to burn.

When you call, tell me what you burn in and how often. I will tell you straight whether a full cord or a half makes sense. No upsell, just the size that fits.

How it works

Faster than ordering a pizza.

  1. You call Al

Tell him full or half cord and where you want it dropped. That's the whole order.

  2. He loads the truck

Every load is processed and seasoned 10 to 12 months before it goes on the truck. No waiting on a delivery window three days out.

  3. It's on your driveway

About an hour in the Denville area, same day across the rest of Morris County.

  4. You're burning tonight

Pay Al at the door. Want it stacked? Say so on the call and he'll handle it.

Do you deliver to Pompton Plains?

Yes. Pompton Plains and the rest of Pequannock Township are on my same day list.

How do I keep firewood dry near the river?

Keep it off the ground, cover the top only and leave the sides open so air moves through the pile.

Where can I buy firewood in Pequannock, NJ?

Call or text Al at (973) 590-4899. Seasoned hardwood firewood for sale in Pequannock: full cord $350, half cord $250, delivered the same day you call.

Is it really an hour?

For the towns around Denville, yes, most of the time. If Al is mid-delivery he'll tell you the honest ETA on the phone. The rest of Morris County is same day.

What is a cord, actually?

A stack 4 feet high, 4 feet deep and 8 feet long: 128 cubic feet. A lot of sellers quote a face cord, which is a third of that. Al sells full cords.

What kind of wood is it?

All dense hardwood: a mix of maple, oak, hickory, birch and ash, sourced from local tree maintenance in Morris County. Every load is seasoned 10 to 12 months before delivery, so it lights easy and burns hot with less smoke and creosote.

Do you stack it?

Yes, for an additional fee. Tell Al where you want it when you call and he'll give you the price.

How do I pay?

Cash, check or Zelle, paid at the door when the wood is on your driveway.

Do you deliver outside Morris County?

Sometimes. Call with your town and Al will tell you straight.
